There's so much out there of the world to experience – different cultures, breathtaking landscapes, wildlife and people from all walks of life. Through my travel writing I've been lucky enough to witness many of these firsthand. From a stay at Lapland’s famous Ice Hotel, to a train trip across Russia and partying in 24 hours of daylight at a Finnish Midsumer Sun party, I’ve been on some incredible journeys.

I contribute travel features to publications on a freelance basis which have included The Sunday Times travel section, High Life, You and Your Wedding and The Express.

I am the former travel editor of Asda Magazine's website. This gave me a broad range of travel and leisure contacts, including journalists, PRS and key players in the travel industry. I introduced the new travel section with the aim of creating travel content that drives consumers to book through Asda Travel, Asda's travel service.

Prior to this I was travel editor of Tesco magazine (which has a readership of 6 million) for five years. As well as writing and commissioning features I also write the magazine's travel news page which necessitates keeping up to date with all the latest industry developments, trends and deals on offer so I can convey them to readers, ensuring they know the hottest places to for and get the best value for money.
