And I’m lucky enough to have done just that, albeit a few years later, thanks to my role as celebrity editor on Tesco magazine (which has a readership of around 7 million) where I worked for five years.

Responsible for all of the publication’s celebrity content, I secured a number of exclusives, speaking to many A-listers including actors, presenters and pop stars who usually prefer to keep their private lives just that. From a rare personal chat with British comedian Ricky Gervais, subsequently picked up by a number of national media, to Hollywood celebs like David Schwimmer, the stars all revealed their more intimate side to me for Tesco magazine.

Currently, as editor of Asda Magazine’s website, my remit covers sourcing and speaking to high profile celebs who include Ashley Jensen for exclusive interviews for the website.

I have also contributed on a freelance basis to publications including The Sun and Sun Online, The Times, The Daily Express, Take It Easy (the People magazine), High Life, The Jewish Chronicle, Recline magazine, Odyssey magazine and regional and online publications,  writing celebrity interviews and gossip. I was also a regular contributor to The Chat, The London Paper’s tongue-in-cheek celebrity interview column, as well as its celeb gossip and news section and wrote for the London Lite.
